Farming Simulator 14 is the first mobile Farming Simulator to have multiplayer mode. Farming Simulator 16 has Bluetooth functionality. Farming Simulator 15 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One also has a multiplayer mode.
The initial release for Farming Simulator 2013 was on October 26, 2012.[2] A version was released for the PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2013, known as Farming Simulator.[4] Almost a year after its PC release, it received a large update and re-release under the title Farming Simulator 2013 Titanium Edition, on October 10, 2013. It contains all of the previous assets from the first iteration, with new content of a US-based environment in the form of a map called "Westbridge Hills" and new vehicles.[5] New content was also released as DLC add-ons for those with the original version of the game.[6]
Farming Simulator 19 was released on November 20, 2018. Some key new features include a redesigned graphics engine and the addition of horse farming as well as oat and cotton crops. The game also features John Deere machinery for the first time, as well as Komatsu, Rau, Wilson trailer, and more. A seventh DLC, Alpine Farming was released on November 12, 2020. It features a new map, dubbed 'Erlengrat' as well as new licensed machinery, including AEBI and Rigitrac, as well as the return of Bührer. Farming Simulator 19: Ambassador Edition, which includes the base game, along with its two expansions and six DLC, was announced is due to release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 21 2022.[11]
Farming Simulator 14 was released for iOS, Android, Nintendo 3DS, Windows Phone and PlayStation Vita on November 18, 2013,[16] and gives a more polished and more casual gaming experience on mobile platforms than its predecessors.[17] There are 10-20 brands in the game.
Reception of the Farming Simulator series has been mixed across all titles, with critics praising its sense of relaxation and array of realistic machinery and vehicles.[19] Some have criticised the games for their repetition and lack of interesting mechanics, while others argue such qualities should be expected in a simulator. Though the series targets the audience that are knowledgeable in the farming industry, the series is generally liked by both farmers and non-farmers alike.
Farming Simulator 2013 is more of a business simulator that revolves around the farming industry. I spent almost as much time going through menus checking demands on certain crops and looking to see how my capital gains are against my overall spending. To begin with, it was all very daunting, but after taking time to look at everything, it became a complex flow that I started to understand.
I tried to get into the spirit of the game by waking up at 5 am and start the day as a virtual farmer, but my body made this impossible. After going through the 12 step tutorial I was ready to start my very own farm. I was given a loan some basic machinery, and a field to sow. The world was my oyster. A basic day in Farming Simulator 2013 breaks down into smaller mini games of plowing, planting, spraying, and harvesting. All of these actions involve pulling a piece of equipment behind a tractor and driving up and down the field at a very slow speed. Staying true to farming nature, there is no nitro boost on the tractor and if you go over 10 MPH you are going to have a bad time.
The game Farming Simulator was once ironically beloved. Now gamers are ready to get serious, moving the action from their desks to the couch. Starting this week Farm Simulator 2013, previously only for PCs, will be is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Europe and Japan, with an American arrival expected soon.
Giants Software, a European-based developer, first released Farming Simulator in 2011, to surprise success. Surprising to some because the game is quite simply as advertised: it realistically simulates farming, without any of the typical thrills and action offered by modern-day video games. Users plant fields, harvest crops, care for and feed livestock. Half a million copies were sold worldwide according to IGN, a website covering games and the gaming industry.
The developers hope to reach a new audience while staying true to their farming roots. Some of the game developers grew up on a farm and bring their own experience to the project, Marc Schwegler, associate producer at Giants Software told Farm and Dairy.
Farming-Simulator 2013 features dozens of new vehicles that players can use to cultivate crops on their own farms. Focus says that the reference brand Case IH has joined the roster of vehicles, which is great news. The top 20 vehicle manufactures are represented, so fans are bound to find their favorites, whether they align themselves with John Deere or Horsch.
Farming-Simulator 2013 also features a career mode; players slip on the overalls of a farm manager as they work to make their business as profitable as possible. There's also co-op support for up to 10 players. If the 2011 edition is any indication, rounding up nine friends shouldn't be difficult at all. If that's not enough, players can also nurture animals including cows, chickens, and sheep.
A: We had the idea to create a combine harvester simulation game, taking the idea of Flight Simulator and applying it to a combine harvester, but when working on this idea we realized it would allow for so much more gameplay when we would add all the farming related processes to the game. 041b061a72
